Even as a child I had a natural love of helping others. Now as an adult, I have been a Registered Nurse for over 15 years and still seek new ways to help others (Just ask my husband, he is always waiting as I offer to take strangers’ family holiday snaps or carry people’s groceries). However, it was after having my first child, suffering postnatal depression, and on returning to my nursing career that I discovered my real calling.
Why should people feel they have to choose one, career promotion or personal goals, at the sacrifice of the other and that achieving both is unrealistic and unachievable? Both are more than possible, you just might need an extra pair of hands, Extra Hands With Extra Love.
